Bob Costello is the Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of International Trade Policy and Cross-Border Operations at the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the national trade association for the trucking industry. As Chief Economist, he manages all of ATA’s collection, analysis and dissemination of trucking economic information. This includes several monthly trucking economic indicators, motor carrier financial and operating data, an annual freight transportation forecast, driver wage studies, weekly diesel fuel price and economic reports, and a yearly trucking almanac. Bob also conducts economic analyses of proposed regulations and legislation affecting the trucking industry.

Bob is often cited in the news media as an expert on trucking economics, including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, CNBC, FOX Business Channel, and National Public Radio.

In 2018, Bob was appointed by Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross to the Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness. He currently serves on the American Transportation Research Institute’s Research Advisory Committee. He is on the Board of Directors for the Border Trade Alliance. Bob is also a member of the National Association for Business Economics and has served on several research and project panels for the Transportation Research Board, which is part of the National Academies. He is also a member of the Industrial Economists Group at Harvard University.

Prior to joining ATA in 1997, Bob was an economist with Joel Popkin & Company in Washington D.C., an economic consulting firm that specializes in the analysis of wages, inflation, and economic trends.

Bob has a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts from Winona State University. He lives in Alexandria, Va. with his wife and daughter.

Cody McClain is the Vice President of Safety & Human Resources at Tucker Freight Lines. Tucker Freight Lines is a Van, Open Deck, and Specialized hauler based in Dubuque, Iowa. Cody comes from multiple generations of people that have worked in the trucking industry and Cody started his professional career as an educator. His background with trucking and education have paved his path towards assisting Tucker Freight Lines’ growth, success and safety.

Joe is the Director of DOT Compliance with Quality Carriers, where he is responsible for State, Federal and International regulatory compliance. Five years of Law Enforcement created the path for his current and previous roles as Director of DOT Compliance. He has 5 years in his current role but has 10 total years with Quality Carriers starting as a consultant. His previous roles have been compliance related to include assisting carriers transitioning to AOBRD or ELD. He has been involved in over 50 Satisfactory rated State and Federal Compliance Reviews during his 35 plus years in the transportation industry.

Joe enjoys traveling and spends most of his off time fishing and playing golf.

Kathleen Griffin, Director of Fleet Safety with Leonard’s Express, Inc., in Farmington, NY , is a seasoned executive offering transportation safety expertise gained through 27+ years of success in the safety arena. She is passionate about the transportation industry and is continually seeking ways to improve herself and the company. While at Leonard’s Express, Kathleen has worked to create a culture of safety and inclusivity. Kathleen was named a Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT) in 2023. She is a member of the company’s women in trucking committee and a winner of the Pat Johnson Award, an annual recognition program created by Leonard’s Express to honor extraordinary women who demonstrate the qualities of leadership, selflessness, and integrity. Under Kathleen’s leadership, Leonard’s Express won TCA’s 2022 Fleet Safety award in their division, which identifies truckload carriers that have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to safety by presenting the lowest accident frequency ratios per million miles in each division and the Trucking Association of New York’s 2021 Fleet Safety Award Grand Trophy. To qualify for this award, a fleet must have an exemplary safety record and a proven culture of safety.

Rebecca Brewster is President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Transportation Research Institute. ATRI is the trucking industry’s not-for-profit research organization, whose mission is research to improve the trucking industry’s safety and productivity. Rebecca has been with ATRI for over 29 years.

Rebecca is the recipient of several awards including Fleet Owner magazine’s 2016 Dozen Outstanding Women in Trucking, the 2013 Influential Woman in Trucking award, and the 2010 J.R. Bob Halladay award given by the 50 state trucking associations.

Angelique Brosseau is VP of Client Experience at ISAAC. She is responsible for the satisfaction of ISAAC’s valued clients. With a solid background in health technology operations, digital media project delivery and digital transformation, she is a seasoned executive in the areas of operations and customer experience. She previously led medical billing operations at Xacte and solution deployment at PetalMD. With over a decade at Yellow Pages, she excelled in operational strategy and team management.

Passionate about new technology, Angelique is dedicated to enhancing operational effectiveness with client satisfaction as her top consideration. With expertise in SaaS, management and operational excellence, she is driven by the power of teamwork and takes pride in building collaborative relationships.

Angelique is an avid amateur chef, foodie, and music lover. She revels in the joy of discovering the great outdoors by bike or paddleboard, or of practicing Yoga on a dock. Her favorite place to be is on a beach, book in hand.

Danny McDermid is a Technical Support Specialist at ISAAC. He has worked in the transportation industry for over a dozen years, including as an IT identity and access specialist. As a senior analyst on our Client Experience (CX) team, he provides invaluable assistance to new team members, helping them to learn the ins and outs of the ISAAC solution and to help facilitate their integration within the support team.

Jean-Philippe Bertrand is the Director of Operations at ISAAC Instruments. He started with ISAAC as a technical support specialist immediately after graduating engineering school. He grew up with ISAAC, going from a technical role to a leadership role. Cumulating 10 years of experience using technology to transform organizations and the way they operate, he is currently leading the supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, client service, installation, and professional services teams. Jean-Philippe is passionate about overcoming the most complex operational challenges, either internally or with transportation fleets.

J.S. Bouchard is the Chief Product Officer and cofounder of ISAAC Instruments. His mission? To trailblaze with the product team to craft the premier in-cab trucking solution in North America.

Driven by this ambition, J.S. brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His journey is marked by over 15 years of deep conversations with hundreds of trucking fleets, uncovering what keeps them up at night while leveraging his solid foundation in computer engineering from McGill University.

Before becoming Chief Product Officer, J.S. showcased his strong leadership for over a decade as executive vice president of Sales at ISAAC. In that role, he played a key part in building ISAAC’s business strategy and was critical in launching the ISAAC solution and the ISAAC InControl mobile tablet.

Kyle Niiya is a Business Intelligence Analyst at ISAAC and has over 18 years of IT systems and business experience in the transportation industry. His role within ISAAC’s Data and AI team is to ensure that the information being provided to our clients is relevant and is displayed in a clear and effective manner. His love of data analytics will help our clients in making informed decisions to improve and grow their fleets.

Manon L’Espérance is a Product Manager at ISAAC. Manon leverages the knowledge she gained as an experienced user of the ISAAC solution and the key positions she held over the course of her 20+ years at Groupe Robert Inc. to promote the voice of the customer. With her understanding of the carriers and drivers needs, Manon works with the Product Team to identify opportunities to improve the ISAAC solution and simplify trucking.

Melanie Simard is Vice-President, Safety, Compliance and Technical Support at ISAAC. She brings these three groups together to ensure ISAAC clients receive best-in-class service and support, and to demystify all questions relating to regulatory compliance. She is passionate about this last subject, and well attuned to the kind of support ISAAC users need, as she was on that side of the equation before joining ISAAC. With over 20 years in the trucking industry, her field experience as a driver, dispatcher, compliance manager—not to mention an ISAAC user—the trucking DNA she brings to the table is a valuable asset to both ISAAC and its clients.

Richard Francis is a technical trainer at ISAAC. With over 19 years of experience in employee training in various fields and going on four years at ISAAC, Richard has become an expert at helping users of the ISAAC solution. With his understanding of the carriers and drivers learning and business needs, Richard works with the training team to find ways to help you fully experience the ISAAC solution.

Daniel MEDENOUVO has been a Solutions specialist in our Professional Services team for several months. With a diverse professional background in banking and insurance, the automotive industry, and IT, Daniel has quickly adapted to ISAAC over the past five years. He started as a Technical Support Specialist, which allowed him to gain solid expertise in our solutions. He then joined our Customer Success Managers (CSM) team, assisting them in their missions.

Passionate about complex challenges, he is committed to providing personalized and efficient service, ensuring customer satisfaction with our products. He enjoys understanding clients’ needs and adapting our solutions to better meet those needs, always striving to improve their level of satisfaction.

Matt Ruth is the Vice President of Implementation and Integration at ISAAC Instruments. Matt started his career working in transportation immediately upon graduating from the college and has served in a wide-variety of operational, technology and leadership roles. His wealth of experience accumulated over the past 25+ years leading teams responsible for managing the most complex transportation technology implementations has given Matt a unique ability to provide practical solutions to an otherwise complex and fragmented ecosystem of supply chain technology solution providers.

Nicolas Blanchet has dedicated the past eight years of his career in the field of telemetry working with ISAAC. He has held multiple positions at ISAAC, from Support specialist, to trainer, and finally, Solution specialist. His journey has been one of growth, learning and innovation. His current role has allowed him to leverage his experience and take on more complex challenges. His primary focus has been on API integration and advanced system configuration. Through meticulous planning, innovative problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork, he has helped our clients achieve seamless integration and optimize their telemetry systems.

Sylvain Binette is a technical trainer at ISAAC, and is responsible for providing clients with the information and tools required to use the solution to its full potential. Sylvain has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, first as a driver and then a driver trainer for 20 years. His great passion is boating; he spends the summer out on the water to enjoy the good weather.
