Jacques DeLarochelliere is the President and cofounder of ISAAC Instruments. Jacques’s passion for motorsports led him to design a cutting-edge telemetric system that improved racing performances of race car drivers. Thanks to his vision, technology that was once reserved to motorsport elites is now available to professional truck drivers. ISAAC offers a driver-centric fleet management solution that allows fleets to improve profitability. The company is also developing the Internet of Trucks, which allows connectivity of various objects aboard the truck.
Founded in 1999, ISAAC has earned a place in Deloitte’s prestigious North American Technology Fast 500 ranking in 2016, 2018 and 2019. With a revenue growth of 278% for the 2019 edition, ISAAC has the strongest growth in the telematics industry among the listed companies.
Jacques’s entrepreneurial leadership has been recognized with a nomination for Entrepreneur of the year by Ernst & Young and Desjardins. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, as well as a Flight Test Principles and Practice attestation from the School of Engineering of the University of Kansas and a certification in aircraft engineering specialty from Transport Canada.
David Brillon is Vice-President R&D and cofounder of ISAAC Instruments. He leads the software and hardware development teams which set ISAAC Instruments apart by covering all aspects of vehicle telemetry. His vast expertise includes software architecture, distributed applications, communication protocols, processing, analysis and viewing of vehicle data. The products developed under his leadership are used by the major global vehicle manufacturers (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, FAW, BRP, Volvo, John Deere, etc.) and the country’s largest carriers (STM, STO, RTC, Transport Robert, etc.).
David founded ISAAC Instruments in 1999, together with Jacques DeLarochellière. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering as well as master’s degree in industrial electrical engineering.
Jean-Sebastien Bouchard is Vice-President Sales as well as a Partner at ISAAC Instruments. He is responsible for implementing the business strategy for the telemetry and telematics solutions designed and manufactured by the company.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the development, service and commercialization of telemetry solutions in the transportation industry. Thanks to his analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, he contributes to the evolution of ISAAC’s solutions to always better meet the requirements of the transportation industry.
Jean-Sebastien holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University in computer engineering with a specialization in technological entrepreneurship.
Vice-President Culture, Development and Care
Josiane Lorange is Vice-President Culture, Development and Care at ISAAC Instruments. She envisions and leads organizational development initiatives to maximize ISAAC Instruments human potential and best exploit the innovation, leadership and management capacities of the team. Always curious about humans and what drives them, she continuously strives to find alternate work methods to be more creative, agile and collaborative while putting people at the center of every decision.
Prior to joining ISAAC Instruments, Josiane worked with various technology companies including HydroTerra (WSP) and Geo-3D (Trimble). Josiane holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from McGill University, a Fellowship in International Development Management as well as an MBA from HEC.

Julie Phaneuf is Vice-President Client Experience at ISAAC Instruments. She leads the ISAAC solution deployment team and is responsible for the execution and delivery of the best-in-class client relations. Recognized for her leadership and multidisciplinary team management, Julie’s passion and innovative thinking ensure ISAAC Instruments puts customers at the center of every decision.
Julie is a seasoned leader with valuable experiences in technology companies. Prior to joining ISAAC Instruments, Julie started her career in high-tech companies such as BNR and CAE. Then moved into C-level positions at Jobboom (Canoe-Quebecor), Newad and TC Media.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree from HEC, as well as several certifications; Certified Project Manager / Certified Product Manager – AIPMM, Wilson Learning Process (Sales), NPI Process – Business Model Canvas & Value Proposal Canvas and Google Ad Words Fundamentals & Mobile Advertising.
Vice-President Marketing and Communications
Melanie Charbonneau is Vice President Marketing and Communications at ISAAC Instruments. She is an innovative leader with a passion for developing a high-performance culture. Mindful of individuals and their unique strengths, and with a strategic mind, she mobilizes people around common projects and corporate objectives. The team she leads contributes to generating revenue by leveraging the full spectrum of communication campaigns, brand development, as well as product, digital, direct and event marketing.
With a diploma in marketing from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Melanie has solid B2B marketing experience in high-tech companies in Canada and the United States.
Vice-President Finance and Operations
Serge Larocque is Vice-President Finance and Operations at ISAAC Instruments. He obtained an advanced graduate diploma in corporate finance after completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also completed Six Sigma Black Belt training and has led several process improvement projects for various companies.
Throughout his career, Serge worked for several rapidly growing companies in the manufacturing field. He also spent time at Groupe Medicus, partly owned by Groupe Jean Coutu, where he helped optimize the capital structure and make several acquisitions.
For more than 15 years, Serge has held senior executive positions, both in finance and business operations.
